Our private and in-home training sessions come to you, so wherever you are in the Atlanta metro, we can work together. Virtual and remote dog training sessions are also available for clients located outside our in-home service area — anywhere in Georgia or across the US.

The choice between private lessons and board and train is a personal decision based on your lifestyle. Private lessons are great for the motivated dog owner who has the time and discipline to be incredibly consistent as they are going through the early teaching stages. Our board and train program, on the other hand, is a 14-day immersive experience where your dog lives and trains with us full-time — allowing us to move through things faster, address the small details that add up, and build real reliability before your dog comes home. Board and train programs are a great fit for busy households, if you have a vacation planned, or if you're not confident in your consistency at home. In fact, the earlier you start, the better — the habits and boundaries you build in those first few months set the tone for everything that follows. At Right Tree Dog Training, we offer a dedicated Puppy Training Program (/puppy-training-programs)designed specifically for Atlanta dogs under 5 months old, covering the essentials like house training, crate routines, nipping, and building a calm, confident foundation for life. Yes — Right Tree Dog Training offers virtual and remote dog training sessions (/virtual-training-advice)for clients who aren't located within our in-home service area or who simply prefer the convenience of an online session. Topics include housebreaking, introducing a new dog to your home, early-stage puppy challenges, choosing a reputable breeder or rescue, and more. If you decide to move forward with a full training program after your virtual session, the consult fee is applied toward your total balance. Virtual dog training sessions are available for Atlanta-area clients and dog owners across the US.

It depends on the dog, the program, and — most importantly — how consistent the owner is at home. That said, most clients in our Atlanta dog training programs start seeing meaningful changes within the first few sessions. Dogs in our 14-day board and train program typically come home with a strong foundation of core commands and noticeably improved behavior from day one of pickup. Private in-home clients often see progress after the first lesson, with reliable results building over the full program. Our pricing is fluid and based on several factors. We will discuss those factors and determine the pricing in the free evaluation or the at home consultation. I do offer very competitive pricing and will match or beat any other training quote for a similar program you may have found elsewhere. Since I am not a franchise and I’m a smaller operation, I don’t need to inflate my prices to unreasonable levels. I also offer the option of payment plans for all my programs as well.

Due to the many factors involved in a dog’s success at home, including owner commitment, consistency, and follow through, it is impossible to offer a 100% guarantee. That being said, ANY of our clients going through any of our training programs have our total commitment to helping them in any way we can.
